Crystal Wood is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who brings deep clinical expertise and quiet compassion to every interaction. At the core of her practice is a belief that healing unfolds in the presence of trust, reflection, and individualized care—principles that guide her work each day at Integrated Psychiatric Services (IPS).
Crystal earned both her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and her doctoral research focused on the prevention of medication errors to enhance patient safety—underscoring her commitment to precision, safety, and advocacy in mental health care.
With a clinical background that spans inpatient geriatric psychiatry, critical care, and medical-surgical nursing, Crystal brings an integrative perspective to psychiatric practice. Her approach blends medical insight with therapeutic sensitivity, allowing her to support patients with a wide range of needs—especially those navigating co- occurring physical and mental health conditions.
