Temi Walker is a compassionate, attachment- and trauma-informed Associate Professional Counselor (APC) who works with individuals, couples, and families, providing a collaborative and emotionally focused approach to healing and personal growth. She is passionate about helping clients strengthen relationships, navigate life transitions, and develop greater emotional awareness within a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment.

 

Temi holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the state of Georgia. 

Temi has extensive experience working with couples and families and is deeply committed to helping clients build stronger, healthier relationships. Her clinical work is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and a systems-based approach. She recognizes that individuals do not exist in isolation but are shaped by their relationships, family dynamics, and life experiences. By understanding these patterns, she helps clients create meaningful and lasting change.


She works with adults, couples, parents, and families experiencing relationship distress, anxiety, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, attachment injuries, parenting concerns, and family conflict. Her therapeutic approach focuses on strengthening emotional bonds, improving communication, repairing trust, and fostering secure, connected relationships. 


Temi integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy(EFT), Attachment based interventions, experiential techniques and Family Systems Therapy to help clients identify recurring relational patterns, deepen emotions awareness and develop healthier way of interacting with one another. She partners collaboratively with clients to tailor treatment to their treatment to their unique strengths, experiences and goal empowering them to move towards healing and lasting relational wellness.


 She believes every individual couple and family possess the capacity for resilience and transformation. she creates a warm, nonjudgemental and affirming space where clients feel seen, heard and supported as they process difficult emotions, strngthen realtions and cultivate lasting emotional well-being wellness

At Integrated Psychiatric Services (IPS), Temi collaborates with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated behavioral healthcare that integrates psychotherapy with psychiatric care when appropriate. Through this multidisciplinary approach, she supports clients in achieving emotional healing, relational growth, and long-term wellness.
