Suzanne Mahaney LPC
Suzanne Mahaney is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing treatment to children, adolescents and adults for over 26 years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC in 1989, and graduated with her Master’s in Education, with a concentration in Clinical Counseling, from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in 1993. Since then, she has been providing treatment through community mental health, in home family therapy, substance abuse groups, and outpatient individual and family therapy. Her training has focused on family systems therapy, child and adolescent therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Client Focused Therapy. She currently provides treatment for clients between ages 12 through adult who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and oppositional behaviors.
Suzanne was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and moved to GA with her husband and three daughters 14 years ago. In her free time, she loves volunteering with a local canine rescue group called Braveheart Bulliez. All four of her current dogs are rescues.
