Samantha Morgan, MSW, LMSW
Samantha Morgan is a Licensed Master Social Worker who has been providing mental health services to children, teenagers, and adults since 2012. Previously, she was in non-profit executive management for over 20 years. Samantha is passionate and dedicated to helping to improve the lives of her clients. Samantha is originally from the greater Boston area and together with her husband and son relocated to the Atlanta area from Michigan over 10 years ago. Samantha graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1996. After almost 20 years in the non-profit sector, she returned to social work and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2012 from the University of Michigan School of Social Work which has been consistently ranked since 2012, as the number one school for social work in the Nation. Since 2012, Samantha has worked in a variety of settings as a therapist, such as community mental health, substance abuse and addiction counseling, and individual and family therapy. Samantha Morgan utilizes a number of evidenced based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), trauma focused CBT, guided imagery and mindfulness meditation and relational therapy. Samantha uses a strength-based approach with emphasis on client centered care and treatment.
In her free time, Samantha Morgan enjoys spending time with her family, loves to travel and serve her community. Samantha is active in her local church choir and praise team as a vocalist. In addition, she serves as a volunteer “Buddy” for children with special needs.
