MSW, LMSW Therapist & Licensed Master Social Worker
Samantha Morgan is a licensed master social worker and compassionate therapist with a rich background in mental health, nonprofit leadership, and client advocacy. Since 2012, she has supported children, adolescents, and adults through a range of emotional challenges with a thoughtful, strengths-based approach rooted in connection, trust, and clinical skill.
A native of the greater Boston area, Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. After two decades in executive leadership within the nonprofit sector, she returned to the heart of what inspired her career—direct client care—and completed her Master of Social Work Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan, one of the nation’s leading programs in social work.
Samantha has practiced in a variety of clinical environments, including community mental health agencies, substance use recovery programs, and outpatient therapy settings. Across all these roles, she is known for her ability to meet people where they are—offering compassionate care grounded in evidence-based modalities.
Her therapeutic toolkit includes:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Trauma-Focused CBT
Relational therapy
Guided imagery and mindfulness
At Integrated Psychiatric Services (IPS), Samantha plays a vital role as part of a
collaborative and multidisciplinary care team.
Her contributions extend beyond one-
on-one therapy to include:
Providing trauma-informed care that complements psychiatric treatment plans
Supporting families through challenging diagnoses and transitions
Enhancing continuity of care through close communication with IPS psychiatrists and nurse practitioners
Helping shape a culture of warmth, reflection, and shared learning across the IPS team
The IPS model empowers Samantha to bring her full skill set to the table—enabling
her to provide deeply personalized care while drawing on the collective expertise of a
strong clinical team.
Whether guiding a young person through emotional overwhelm or helping an adult
find new footing after loss or change, Samantha offers a grounded, hopeful presence
Outside the therapy room, Samantha continues to lead with
compassion—volunteering in her church, singing in the praise choir, and supporting
children with special needs. These personal commitments reflect the same spirit that
defines her clinical work: a deep belief in the dignity of every person and the healing
power of connection.
