Brandy graduated with her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in May 2023. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating August 2019.

Brandy has worked extensively with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, Schizoaffective, Schizophreniform, and paranoid personality disorders. Prior to IPS, Brandy worked for a PHP/IOP substance use program, specializing in trauma informed therapy, grief counseling, crisis intervention, Gestalt Therapy, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Feminist Theory, Buddhist philosophy, anti-oppressive approaches, LGBTQIA+ informed therapy and support, and narrative therapy modalities. She is also credentialed in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma informed intervention and therapy. During her time as a substance use counselor, she was co-creator of the original curriculum known as the “Brock-Johnson Method” which encompasses ACT, DBT, and multiple original ideas and interventions that are currently in use and rotation at her previous facility. Brandy has also been featured in the January 2024 LPCA of Georgia’s publication with the article titled “Changing the Conversation Around Grief,” and as a guest speaker on the “Mindful Mornings with Dr. Matt,” podcast in March 2024. She is currently accepting new clients from ages 16 up.
